Cooking school lesson + BBQ

The next lesson will be held next Sunday – February 20, 3pm in Latvian house, new kids are more than

welcome to take part! There will be a BBQ for visitors so everyone is welcome.

As most of you know 6.02 was the first kids Cooking school lesson. It went quite well – kids and mums were very pleased – we cooked oat cookies, made mosaics, played games and generally had a great time. Find photos here.

I have received a suggestion to organise a BBQ for dads, as well as those who dont have young kids, so they can take part in our meetings. Starting this Sunday and then every second kids cooking school lesson will be "VISITOR DAY" when in conjunction with the kids cooking classes we can fire up the BBQ and the kids can show off what they have made.

What to bring with you?

Kids cooking school attendees:

• Tea towel
• Coloured pencils
• Old colorful magazine

BBQ attendants:

• Sausages or meat as you wish
• Colourful salads, dips, chips
• Bread/ sauces
• Drinks as you like!

BBQ is scheduled to run parallel to the kid classes – starting at 3pm. We would be grateful for a gold coin donation from BBQ attendees which will go towards Latvian House rental.
